About GildaThe critics said that " the role of Gilda was like cut on her." " This role fitted  her like a glove on her hand ". " She is an authentic, inimitable Gilda interpreter. It looks as if Verdi would have created this role for her voice and figure."
I, for one, admit that it is my favorite, I simply had identified with that character. That's why I mentioned it the first. I  had a brilliant partner, in the role of the father, baritone Oktav Enigarescu (Romania)  for many years, and also a great number of splendid tenors, in the role of the Duke.
